Paula Phillips-Ventimiglia, claiming to be native to both Texas and Colorado, currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland. She earned her BA through Texas Wesleyan University, Ft. Worth Texas and her MFA with the Hoffberger School of Painting at the Maryland Institute, College of Art. In addition to being a practicing artist she instructs students of the Maryland Institute, the Friends school, and privately.
All of Paula's works revolve around the theme of Woman as godess in a contemporary world. Her goal as an image maker is to establish a visual connection to link the spiritual and the mystical with our basic, earth-bound humanity.
