    the artistMarc Broadway

Born in Flint, Michigan, Marc Broadway spent most of his childhood in Southern California. He attended college in Southern Utah and came face to face with the land, the culture, and the tradition which he has come to embrace through his work.

During this time Marc met his future wife, Loretta, who is Navajo Indian. They were married and moved to the Four Corners area near the Navajo Indian Reservation.

Many people express surprise at Marc's choice of media. "Prismacolor does not fight you," he replies. "The control it gives allows me to interpret my subject matter with a high degree of accuracy. I strive to achieve a sense of realism in my art, because I want everyone who views my drawings to experience the same joy I feel in creating it."
