THE FREEDOM TRAIN IS COMING (1994) In the struggle for freedom some killed, many died, more prayed; and then the majority voted. As the election approaches, the bloodshed escalates. It is as though the spirit of reconciliation was being shouted down by the voices of hate and greed and fear. When the campaigning ends, people everywhere kneel down and pray, as though that is all that is left to do. The radical elements throw their tantrums with bombs and guns and the people continue to sing and pray. |
