The fact that the jury finding O.J. Simpson liable for the wrongful death of Ron Goldman did not contain a single African-American is ...?

Response: Just another means of exploitation by a greedy capitalist company. Do not sell out to these soul ravaging big buisness exploiters. They are not concerned with anything but your money. Save your money for college. The world is starving for educated justice seekers.

Response: It is nice that in a time where the country seems divided by race that major corporations are tyring to rectify the situation -- even though it's for a profit.

Response: this is disturbing. in the name of diversity, a company markets a product that is UNHEALTHY, by putting a black face on its product. i can't really believe that they are doing so because they have a sincere interest in promoting the cause of african people. it's is definately no different than advertising by liquor and cigarette manufacturors-- promoting a product that creates disease.

Response: I believe it is a small step, but a step no doubt in the right direction. I also believe we will benefit if not directly (as in a share of profits) then indirectly (as positive imaging in or children).

Response: Alexander Dumas I, 1802-1870, wrote The Musketeers, The Man In The Iron Mask, The Corsican Brothers, and The Count of Monte Cristo. His father was Haitian and took his mother's name "Dumas" and even later sailed with Napoleon to Egypt. Alexander Dumas, II became a writer as his father before him. The operas "La Traviate" and "Camille" were adapted from Dumas II's great story. It's too bad they did not put these great great Black men's story on the candy bar or at least one Dumas face on the wrapper.

Response: I think it's a great idea. I am white, but I think that there are not enough minorities shown in advertising today. It's time to reflect what our society is truly made up of, people of many colors. Not just white.

Response: I think it is time that black's are strarting to appear in theatrical writes with white people.

Response: I think it is pretty creative and hope it does not cause negative publicity.

Response: GREAT! Each new step toward showing how diverse our country is is a step forward. When we African Americans get to the point to refuse to do business with those who ignore us -- despite the fact we spend money with them -- then and only then can America heal. We must make businesses recognize that we too spend money. I make it a point to trash all catalogues etc.which do not have models that look like me. My feeling is if they want my money then let me know it - through advertising in the Black press, through advertisement with pictures of Black people and by contributing to some good causes in the Black community.

Response: I think it is about time that black children begin to see a black presence in advertising besides beer commercials and fast food jingles.

Response: It is a superflous act that will not affect the racial divide in this country. So they put a black face on their candy bar wrapper, how many black faces are on their Board of Directors?

Name: Jesse S. Morris III

Response: This only smart advertising on the part of the caandy maker. The thing that we must remember is that the man who wrote the book TheThree Musketeers, from which the candy gets its name was black. So my hat goes off to the candy company and Alexander Dumas.

Response: I think it's great! Isn't it about time our children get to see images of themself everywhere? While it may not get a sister or brother in the Whitehouse right away, it may just give that one child the extra self confidence they need to shoot for it! there was a time when we didn't wash our clothes or teeth or do too much of anything. You have to stay positive..and look for the good in everything that happens.

Response: In my opinion, I don't have an opinion. Some people become so fasinated over small things, that they forget about the larger, important things. I believe that the 3 Musketeers company probaly put that Black dude on there, because someone happy probaly made a comment about the number of Blacks that work at their company or something. In other words, it's probaly some type of quota.

Response: Until more African-Americans begin to understand that it is important to start their own businesses, it does not matter so much who is on the rapper; we still buyin' from them and they still sellin' to us. like himself.

Response: I feel the characters on the 3 Musteteers bar should be Black, because the author was Black, and I know if he had enough intelligence to write a book he intended for the characters to look like himself.

Response: Come on people, is it not time that this world that god made, the poeple that live in it stop looking at skin color and just start trying to be happy. What difference does it make. "CAN WE PLEASE JUST ALL GET ALONE"

Response: I believe that behind every aganda, there is a hidden agenda. Yes, this looks good on the on the surface, but is the reason for this idea being employed? Is it really something positive?

Response: I think the idea is cool! Why not make a second one Asian or Latin? There is enough to go around for everyone. I,m quite sure this candymaker's and other manufacturers' profits are non-discrimnatory, so why should their advertising be. I hope this trend continues.

Response: I THINK THAT THIS NEW CONCEPT WILL REFLECT THE REAL WORLD AND ITS DIVERSITY. FANS OF THE CANDY BAR WILL CONTINUE TO PURCHASE IT NO MATTER WHOSE FACE APPEARS ON THE SYMBOL!

Response: Great...but will it get a brother or sister in the White House?
