Utility teams up with local assistance agencies and invites customers to attend and learn more about energy management, safety, limited income assistance and a variety of programs
WHO: Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (BGE)
WHAT: BGE is hosting a Smart Energy Fair to provide customers with comprehensive energy management information. The Smart Energy Fair will feature information about conservation, safety, limited income assistance, billing options and a variety of BGE programs, including:
· Opportunities for customers to speak one-on-one to customer care representatives
· Energy conservation and management tips
· Renewable Energy Sources Information
· BGE General Employment Information
· Power Outage and Restoration Education
· Limited income energy assistance information
· Information for hearing and speech impaired customers
· Information about the BGE Smart Energy Savers Program® and Energy Choice
BGE’s Smart Energy Fair is supported by many local organizations, including the Office of Home Energy Programs (OHEP), Maryland Department of Human Resources, Johns Hopkins Injury Free Coalition for Kids Pediatric Injury Prevention, Maryland Relay, Maryland Transit Administration (MTA), and Maryland Relay. Each of these organizations will have representatives on site as well. In addition, BGE’s alternative fuel vehicle and the Mobile Operations Center (MOC) will be on site.
