BGE’s $20,000 sponsorship of this one-night-only special performance will benefit the Hippodrome Foundation, Inc.’s <http://www.hippodromefoundation.org/>  community outreach and education activities. Specifically, the concert will support the Soulful Symphony residency program at Lansdowne High School, where Soulful Symphony musicians will work with students to help improve skills and create an overall appreciation of the arts.

As part of its commitment to building strong communities in central Maryland, BGE supports educational initiatives like the Hippodrome Foundation, Inc. <http://www.hippodromefoundation.org/>  programs, which support and encourage students of all ages to work hard and develop skills that will help them contribute to the future growth and success of our society.  Since its founding nearly 200 years ago, BGE has played an integral role in working with Maryland communities to address economic development, public safety, civic issues and other initiatives that help enhance our neighborhoods.
