Youth Services Bureau important factor in State’s reductions in violent crime
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (February 19, 2010) – On Monday, Lt. Governor Brown will present a ceremonial check the City of District Heights Youth Services Bureau, Family & Youth Services Center representing state grant funding for the Children in Need of Supervision Services program. The $228,280 grant, awarded through the Governor’s Office of Crime Control and Prevention (GOCCP), will be used to provide salaries for several positions at the center.
