GOVERNOR MARTIN O’MALLEY TO JOIN GM OFFICIALS FOR MAJOR INVESTMENT ANNOUNCEMENT AT BALTIMORE TRANSMISSION PLANT

ANNAPOLIS, MD (September 28, 2010) – Governor Martin O’Malley will join elected officials and workers at the GM Transmission Operations plant in White Marsh tomorrow for an important investment announcement.

Earlier this year, Governor O’Malley visited the plant to announce that GM would produce next-generation, two mode, rear wheel drive motors and related electric drive components at GM Powertrain Baltimore in White Marsh, creating approximately 200 jobs and retaining hundreds more already at the plant.
