Council President Young and players will also distribute personal items to the homeless

BALTIMORE, MD – City Council President Bernard C. “Jack” Young will join several star players from the Baltimore Ravens Tuesday morning to distribute winter coats and personal items to 300 area homeless men.

Council President Young will join running back Willis McGahee, quarterback Joe Flacco, wide receivers Anquan Boldin and T.J. Houshmandzadeh, guards Chris Chester and Tony Moll and tackle Michael Oher, as well as Baltimore Orioles’ second baseman Brian Roberts to hand out much-needed items to homeless men.

“I am thankful for the Baltimore Ravens and I appreciate the fact that they put such a premium on giving back to our community,” Council President Young said. “As the temperature starts to drop we need to remain mindful of the fact that too many people are forced to live under life-threatening conditions. Together, we can help our fellow Baltimoreans.”
