CARDIN TO HONOR DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. AT EVENTS THROUGHOUT MARYLAND



On Monday, January 16, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) will attend three events in Maryland honoring the life of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. In the morning, Senator Cardin will join Congressman Elijah J. Cummings (D-MD) at the Anne Arundel County Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Breakfast at Anne Arundel Community College. At noon, Senator Cardin will join Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake in the city’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Annual Birthday Parade. In the evening, he will join the Reverend Dr. Todd Yeary of Douglas Memorial Church in Salisbury for the Tri-County Organization’s MLK, Jr. celebration and dinner.
