Alcohol and Tobacco Violations Reflect Increase; Decrease in Motor Fuel

WHAT: Comptroller Franchot will join members of his Field Enforcement Division in announcing the Fiscal Year 2012 numbers for alcohol, tobacco and motor fuel violations, including the retail value and tax loss to the state. Additionally, he will provide the number of citations his office has issued this year, as well as discuss the increase in contraband cigarette confiscations as a result of cross-agency enforcement efforts.
