CARDIN TO ATTEND PRESS CONFERENCE TO UNVEIL WAR OF 1812 ONLINE RESOURCE FOR TEACHERS
On Friday, September 14, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) will join officials from the National Park Service, Maryland Public Television (MPT), Friends of Fort McHenry and others to unveil a new online educational tool to help educators teach students about the War of 1812. Teachers from across the nation and world will have access to this innovative, online information through Thinkport. The U.S. Department of Education funds Thinkport, which is a partnership between MPT and Johns Hopkins University Center for Technology in Education (CTE) that incorporates interactive learning tools to better reach and inspire students.
