STATEMENT FROM GOVERNOR MARTIN O’MALLEY ON ABSENTEE BALLOTS IN PRINCE GEORGE’S AND MONTGOMERY COUNTIES
ANNAPOLIS, MD (October 24, 2012) – Governor Martin O’Malley today released the following statement on absentee ballots in Prince George’s and Montgomery counties:
"The State Board of Elections has confirmed that less than 20 absentee voters in Prince George’s and Montgomery counties are missing a second page. Residents who have requested an absentee ballot should check to make certain they have a complete ballot with a second page that includes Questions 4-7, as well as any of the local county-related questions.
“The Board of Elections is working to investigate what caused this issue. Residents missing a second page on their ballots should call 1-800-222-8683 <tel:1-800-222-8683> to request a new and complete ballot.”
