CARDIN TO VISIT VANTAGE HOUSE TO DISCUSS THE IMPORTANCE OF MEDICARE & SOCIAL SECURITY WITH SENIORS

On Monday, October 29, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) will visit Vantage House in Columbia to discuss the importance of protecting Medicare and Social Security as a “guaranteed benefit.” As a member of the Senate Finance and Budget committees, Senator Cardin also will discuss the facts concerning Medicare and Social Security’s long-term fiscal health and what needs to be done to avoid the looming “fiscal cliff, which poses a serious threat to our economic recovery.
