WHAT: The Board of Revenue Estimates will convene a forum to hear directly from business leaders in an effort to obtain a better sense of the current economic conditions and challenges facing Maryland’s economy. The forum will feature panels covering the broad cross section of Maryland industry, as well as feature leaders from every region of the state. The panels assembled will include representatives from the banking and financial services, real estate, consumer services, utilities, and manufacturing industries.
The testimony provided will assist the Board as it continues to review and study data in preparation for its pivotal December meeting, during which time the state’s official revenue estimates will be updated.
