CARDIN TO MEET WITH LABOR NOMINEE TOM PEREZ

Labor Secretary to Visit Hill Offices
TODAY/Tuesday, April 9 at 3pm, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) will meet with Marylander Tom Perez, President Obama’s nominee for U.S. Secretary of Labor. As a former Judiciary Committee member, Senator Cardin chaired Perez’s confirmation hearing to be Assistant Attorney General of the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice, his current position. Senator Cardin looks forward to a fair and open confirmation process. There will be a photo spray prior to the start of the meeting.
