Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 12:00PM,U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD), a member of the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee, will visit masonry block manufacturer Ernest Maier, Inc. in Bladensburg, MD,to tour their facility and sit down with local small businesses and community leaders during a roundtable discussion.  Throughout the summer, Senator Cardin has been touring manufacturers and small businesses throughout the state. “I plan to listen and bring ideas back to Washington so the federal government can better assist these great companies as they strive to be the best and most innovative in their field,” Senator Cardin said. “At such an important time for America’s economic recovery, ‘Made in Maryland’ is my way to highlight the diverse products being produced in our great state and adding to the growth of our economy.
