GOVERNOR O’MALLEY TO ANNOUNCE TRANSPORTATION INVESTMENT PROJECTS IN BALTIMORE METROPOLITAN REGION
Announcement will include news about the Red Line and MARC weekend service
ANNAPOLIS, MD (September 4, 2013) - TODAY, September 4, Governor Martin O'Malley will announce major investments in transportation projects for the Baltimore Metropolitan Region that will create jobs, reduce congestion, and revitalize communities. The Governor will be joined by Lt. Governor Anthony G. Brown, Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, and other elected officials. The event will include news about the Red Line, MARC weekend service, and a number of projects that will benefit the surrounding counties: Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, and Howard.
