BGE Presents $20,000 to Harford Community College Foundation, Inc.
Family Performance Season Series
Sponsorship series will focus on enhancing the cultural and educational event offerings available to Harford, Cecil and
Baltimore County communities
BALTIMORE () - In support of education, culture and the arts, BGE presented $20,000 to the Harford Community College Foundation, Inc. Family Performance Season Series at the Harford Community College (HCC) in the Chesapeake Center Theater on Monday, Sept. 30, 2013. Many HCC students were in attendance as John Borkoski, BGE vice president of engineering and project management and also a HCC Foundation board member, presented the check to HCC President Dr. Dennis Golladay.
“BGE has a long-standing commitment to enhancing the communities we serve,” said Borkoski. “We are pleased to have the opportunity to boost the educational and cultural offerings of the Harford Community College and Family Performance series and look forward to a great season of events that people of all ages can enjoy.”
“BGE’s generosity will enable the College to underwrite a variety of shows to enhance the cultural events offerings available to the Harford, Cecil and Baltimore communities and enhance our ability to feature nationally and internationally renowned artists,” said Susan Nicolaides, director of cultural events and performing arts at Harford Community College.
