Senator will also view student projects to improve the environment
On Friday, June 10, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) will address 6th and 7th graders at the Green Street Academy about the importance of a green economy for our nation’s future. The Green Street Academy is a new Baltimore City public middle-high school that embraces the “green” movement and encourages careers in the growing green economy. The Green Street Academy opened in September 2010 for 6th and 7th graders and will grow one grade each year through 2015-16, when the school will accommodate grades 6 through 12.
