John Cornelius Robinson (Jack), beloved son of the late Vernon and Lucia Robinson, passed away June 10, 2011 at Beth Israel Hospital in New York, N.Y. He was born and raised in Baltimore, Md. He graduated from Douglas High School and received, in 1959, a B.S. degree in chemistry from Morgan State University (Baltimore). He served in the U.S. Army (1961-1963). After military service, he moved to New York and remained there until his death.

He was predeceased by his parents and younger sister, Leslie Harper Robinson. He leaves to mourn him two brothers Vernon and Roderick Robinson (Falls Church, Va.), four sisters Zoe (Gaithersburg, Md.), Grace (Falls Church, Va.) Robinson, Sally Sharp (Falls Church, Va.), and Linda Anku (Wilmington, De.), one niece, Mia Robinson (N.Y), one nephew, Rik Robinson (Oakland, Ca) two grand nieces , Reece and Ria Robinson (Oakland, Ca),in-laws Vivian Lennon, Geoffrey Anku, and Holly Muckelroy and any number of cousins.
