Former teacher and researcher Jessie Gladden will present a talk, 2 p.m., April 5, on the fascinating life of medical pioneer, Vivien Thomas.
Gladden, who personally knew and interviewed Dr. Thomas, will also display a collection of artifacts pertaining to his life. The program will be held at the Essex Library, 1110 Eastern Boulevard, and is open to the public.
