The search for fine art will lead some to Coppin State University’s Fourth Annual Art Auction – ARTcetra – held at the Health and Human Services building on Coppin’s campus, 2601 W. North Ave., 5-9 p.m., Sept. 15.

ARTcetra offers works by prominent artists including Synthia Saint James, Charles Bibbs, Larry "Poncho" Brown, Paul Goodnight, Joyce Scott, Karen Y. Buster and Ted Ellis.

James Murphy Jr. has been commissioned to create an original print, to be unveiled at ARTcetra IV, for the College of Health Professions based on the theme "The Caregivers."

Signed and numbered limited edition prints will be created from the artwork to be sold at the Art Auction.

The Silent and Live Auctions contain approximately 125 pieces of artwork, including originals, reproductions, wearable art and photography. Price points will range from $75 to $10,000.
Auction proceeds support the programs and students of Coppin’s College of Health Professions and the School of Education.
