Howard to Host Homecoming Gala to Benefit Founders Library Restoration


Howard University will present a star-studded “One Night Only” Homecoming Gala Concert Cabaret” on Oct. 20 at the Howard Theatre to raise funds for the renovation of Founders Library. The enlightening evening will be headlined by graduates Debbie Allen, Phylicia Rashad, Taraji P. Henson, Wendy Robinson and Sean Combs. They will perform along with a list of friends from Broadway, film and television. Participants will then dance the night away at the Cabaret.

The Homecoming Gala Concert Cabaret is the beginning of a much larger effort that will coincide with the Centennial Celebration of the Moorland-Springarn Research Center and the 75th Anniversary of Founders Library.
