KSU Choir to Perform

The acclaimed Kentucky State University Choir, under the direction of Carl H. Smith, is on its 2013 spring tour and will perform a series of concerts in Washington, D.C. It will perform at12:15 on March 12 at the School without Walls located at 2130 G St N.W.; later that day, the choir will appear at 7:30 at Enon Baptist Church located at. 505 L. St N.E.; and the final concert will be at 7 p.m. on March 13 at the Church of the Redeemer, Presbyterian Church located 1423 Girard St. N.E.

Smith’s passion for music has shaped KSU’s Concert Choir into one that shows its diversity by performing all genres of choral music.

Smith, who is in his 54th year as artistic director of the choir, has received many awards and recognition for his outstanding musicianship and dedicated commitment to Kentucky State University and community.
