Washington Interdependence Council Honors Jazz Musician Lou Donaldson with Lifetime Achievement Award

The Washington Interdependence Council recently honored iconic jazz musician Lou Donaldson with its Benjamin Banneker Lifetime Achievement Award at its second annual Benjamin Banneker Jazz & Poetry Fest on Nov. 26.

The pre-Thanksgiving celebration was held at George Washington University in the Jack Morton Auditorium and featured performances from a list of jazz and spoken word artists from around the nation.
