Friendly Edges Largo For 2nd Place

The Friendly Patriots took care of business last Friday, as they edged the Largo Lions, 27-20, to take second place in the Prince George’s County 3A/2A conference.

The Patriots now improves to 7-1 overall and will travel to Brandywine, Md., Saturday to battle Gwynn Park Yellowjackets for first place in the conference. Gwynn Park (8-1 overall) also claimed victory last weekend with a 30-6 win over Surrattsville of Clinton, Md.

Meanwhile, Largo drops to 4-4 overall on the season and will host Surrattsville (2-7 overall) on Saturday as well.
