The romantic comedy, “Boomerang” was released on July 1st, 1992 and it was set in a fictional Black advertising agency. This film has inspired an entire generation of marketing and advertising. There will be a showing of this film held in the Oprah Winfrey Theatre on July 1 at 6:30 p.m. at the National Museum of African American History and Culture Museum, 1400 Constitution Ave NW.
