“Everyone is confronted with the challenges of the coronavirus and the challenges of the state of emergency. The Baltimore NAACP is leading by sharing information and resources, listening to the needs of the community and advocating for resources to be placed where they are most needed. As the NAACP unites Baltimore to follow the best practices shared by public health and government officials, we also urge governments and institutions to approach this crisis with an equity and inclusion lens that protects, supports and includes those who are vulnerable and too often marginalized.”
