CARDIN TO PARTICIPATE WITH VP BIDEN, AG HOLDER IN ROCKVILLE EVENT

TO HIGHLIGHT THE NEED TO REDUCE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE HOMICIDES

 

On Wednesday, March 13, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD), a former member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, will participate in an event with Vice President Joe Biden and Attorney General Eric Holder in Rockville to highlight the urgent need to reduce domestic violence homicides.

WHERE:               Montgomery County Executive Office Building Auditorium

                               101 Monroe Street, Rockville, Maryland, 20850

 

 

WHEN:                 Wednesday, March 13th, 2013

                                Event Start Time: 10:00 AM

 

Camera/Equipment Pre-set: 5:30-6:30 AM (crews with cameras and heavy equipment must arrive no later than 6:30 AM for sweeps)

Media Access: 8:30 AM

Final Media Access Time: 9:45 AM

Media Entrance: Press should enter through the main entrance to the Executive Office Building and check in at the media table.

General Media Parking: Public parking is located one block away from the venue on Monroe Street and Monroe Place.  Parking rates vary by lot.

Live Truck Parking: Live truck parking will be in the circular lot in front of the main entrance to the Executive Office Building at 101 Monroe Street, Rockville, Maryland 20850. All live trucks should arrive no later than 5:30 AM to park and run cable by 6:30 AM.
