Wednesday, August 28 at 1:00 PM, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin will visit the Atlas Container Corporation for a tour and roundtable discussion with employeesAtlas Container is a manufacturer of high-quality corrugated packaging and display products located in Severn. Withover 200 employees, 2,000 customers and 60,000 orders per year, Atlas has grown nearly 25% per year for over a decade – more than eight times faster than its industry's average. Atlas has acommitment to sustainable packaging, employing environmentally friendly practices that emphasize efficient resource usage, renewable energy and recycling.

“Maryland has an incredible wealth of small businesses; I started the Made in Maryland Tour to showcase how diverse our state’s economy is. I look forward to listening and bringing ideas back to Washington,” said Senator Cardin. “At this point in our economic recovery I think it is important to work closely with Maryland businesses to move forward.”
