Through the use of shareholder dollars, BGE supports programs that deliver measurable and sustainable impact in areas of education, economic development, environment and arts and culture.

BGE’s volunteer program engages employees from all parts of the company and recognizes the importance of their efforts in building relationships with our customers and communities to make a positive and lasting impact.

Through BGE’s employee volunteer network, “Energy for the Community,” employees lend their time and passion to our corporate citizenship activities. Last year, BGE employees, friends and family spent more than18,000 hours volunteering with more than 160 different community organizations.

BGE’s corporate citizenship aligns with that of its parent company, Exelon Corporation.
