CARDIN VISITS EASTON FRIDAY TO OPEN A NEW VETERANS SERVICE

CENTER

 

Friday, November 15 at 11:00AMU.S. Senator Ben Cardin will participate in the grand opening ceremony for the Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs’ Easton Service Center.  He will join Edward Chow, Secretary, Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs; Easton Mayor Robert C. Willey and other local dignitaries, including the Honorable Richard Colburn, State Senator, District 37 and the Honorable Adelaide Eckardt, Delegate, District 37B

 

 

What: Grand Opening Ceremony -  Easton Service Center

Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs, Service Program

 

When:           Friday, November 15, 2013 11:00AM to 12:00PM

 

Where:          11 South Harrison StreetEaston, MD 21601

 

 

The Easton Service Center will provide assistance in obtaining benefits from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, State of Maryland and other programs, to men and women who have served in the Armed Forces of America, their dependents and survivors.  It is anticipated the Easton Service Center will make contact with over 700 veterans on a monthly basis either through walk in or telephone contact.  Yearly it is anticipated Easton will service over 8,500 veterans.
