CARDIN BRINGS CALL FOR A RISE IN THE FEDERAL MINIMUM WAGE TO

COLUMBIA, MD

 

Raising the Minimum Wage helps Our Economy

 

Monday, February 3 at 1:00PM,U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD), a member of the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee, will visit British American Auto Care, a family owned, small business that has been in Columbia since 1978. He’ll meet with the owners and employees to discuss the state of our economy and current drive led by President Obama to increase the federal minimum wage to $10.10 per hour. Earlier in the day, Senator Cardin will participate with Governor Martin O’Malley and community leaders in a rally in Baltimore in support of pending legislation to raise the Maryland minimum wage.
