Atholton Grad to Broadcast for CBS

West Point, Cadet Captain Geoffrey Easterling, son of Michael and Barbara Easterling of Columbia, Md., has been selected as a sideline reporter for the United States Military Academy Black Knights football team when it faces Ball State University on Oct 27. Now a senior, Cadet Easterling was chosen as one of the students to broadcast from the Army football sideline for each of its games on CBS Sports this season.

Cadet Easterling, a former Atholton linebacker, graduated in May 2008. He has traveled extensively during his years at West Point. He has resided in an Israeli Kibbutz, assisted with medical air rescue drills in Korea, and worked at a Russian orphanage. He serves as a member of his company’s honor board and is scheduled to graduate in May 2013 with a major in Sociology.
