Hundreds of avid readers convened in the center of downtown Baltimore for the 18th annual Baltimore Book Festival, which featured appearances by local, celebrity and nationally-known authors who discussed their work and signed book copies.

The three-day readers’ fest, from Sept. 27 through Sept 29, was held in the city’s Mount Vernon neighborhood.

Throughout the festival there were several literary events, book signings, readings, panel discussions, workshops, cooking demonstrations, book arts, face painting and a music stage.
