The Bowie Branch Library is scheduled to host Feb. 20, “On Two Fronts: The Tuskegee Airmen of World War II” event. Tuskegee Airman Col. Charles E. McGee will discuss the barriers and obstacles that Blacks had to overcome in order to learn to fly. McGee is a 2011 National Aviation Hall of Fame inductee and 2007 Congressional Gold Medal recipient. The event will take place at 15210 Annapolis Road from 2 p. m. – 4:30 p. m. It is free and open to the public.
