University of the District of Columbia (UDC) will mark the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War at its 10 Annual Veterans’ Day program on Nov. 10.  The event is free and open to the public.  U.S. Air Force Major General Roosevelt Allen is scheduled to be the keynote speaker, and there will be remarks by U.S Army Major Kyle Key, who will talk briefly about his historic ancestor, Francis Scott Key, composer of the U.S. National Anthem; Tammy Lambert, director

Mayor’s Office of Veterans’ Affairs and DAV Commander Nachee Miller, representing the Disabled American Veterans Department of the District of Columbia. The program begins at 10 a.m. in the Windows Lounge located on the Van Ness Campus in Building 38, 2nd floor.  The program is sponsored by the Office of the President and the University’s Division of Student Affairs.
