The Warriors take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.

Victory didn’t come as easy in Game Two as it did in Game One for Golden State. Although the Warriors won both games by nearly 20 points or more, Sunday night’s contest was tightly contested throughout majority of the game. Cleveland trailed by only three points at halftime.  But the Warriors caught fire shooting the ball in the third quarter, stretching the lead to double digits.

LeBron James posted a triple-double for a team-high 29 points with 14 assists and 11 rebounds. Kevin Love scored 27 points and Kyrie Irving added 19 points for Cleveland but Golden State’s star players were better.  Durant had a team-high 33 points with 13 rebounds and Curry matched LeBron’s triple-double with his own of 32 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds. Klay Thompson added 22 points for the Warriors.

Next – Game Three will be played in Cleveland on June 7.
