Governor Larry Hogan Announces Judicial Appointment

Fills Vacancy on the Circuit Court for Baltimore County

ANNAPOLIS, MD – Governor Larry Hogan today announced the appointment of Mr. Keith Truffer to the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. The governor made the appointment after reviewing submissions from current and previous judicial nominating commissions.

“After conducting a thorough vetting process, I am confident that Mr. Truffer is the most qualified candidate to fill this vacancy,” said Governor Larry Hogan. “Mr. Truffer’s decades of legal experience in Baltimore County have prepared him to be a strong advocate for the law and the citizens of the county, and I offer my sincere congratulations.”

Keith Richard Truffer will fill a vacancy on the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. Keith Truffer has practiced law for over 30 years, and is currently a civil litigation partner at the Towson-based firm of Royston, Mueller, McLean & Reid, LLP. His previous experience also includes clerking for a chief judge of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County and serving as a trust lawyer for the Mercantile-Safe Deposit and Trust Company. Mr. Truffer graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
