The Maryland Chili Championship will take place on July 18th from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Living Classrooms’ headquarters at the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park located at 1417 Thames Street in Baltimore, MD. This marks the first time Baltimore is hosting the Maryland Chili Championship. Tickets are $10 and proceeds will benefit the Living Classrooms Foundation. 40 chili chefs including chili champions Larry Walton, Christian Parker & Ian McDaid will compete for the chance to represent the State of Maryland at the 2015 World’s Championship Chili Cookoff (WCCC) in October. Guests will enjoy Union Craft Brewing, the official beer of the Maryland Chili Championship, as well as competition chili from 3 categories: Traditional Red Chili, Chili Verde & Salsa.
