Comptroller to Speak About Issues Facing Maryland

WHO:             Comptroller Peter Franchot

WHAT:          Comptroller Franchot will speak at a forum at the Cedar Lane Unitarian Universal Church in Bethesda on Sunday morning. The Comptroller will discuss Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy, Maryland’s economy, his role as a member of the Board of Public Works and the importance of continued economic development and growth throughout the state. The forum takes place in between Martin Luther King Jr. Sunday services. Cedar Lane Unitarian Universalist Church has been a liberal religious presence in Montgomery County since 1951.
