Comptroller Franchot to Speak at Baltimore Jewish Council Luncheon and Tax Summit

-Franchot to Address Jewish Council and Tax Professionals Gatherings in Baltimore –

WHAT:          Comptroller Franchot will be the featured guest Thursday at the Baltimore Jewish Council’s Politically Connect event. The Comptroller will address members of the Jewish Community about their shared values and the importance of their community’s contributions to Maryland. Politically Connect is a program of the Baltimore Jewish Council, and offers exciting opportunities for people of all ages with interests in the public policy sector to hear from prominent elected officials and to learn about the political process.

Later in the day, Comptroller Franchot will be the keynote speaker at the Baltimore Tax Summit hosted by McGladrey LLP. The Comptroller will address the gathering of tax and business professionals regarding the state’s current tax environment and its impact on business.
