TODAY, Monday, February 1 at 10:30 AM, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-Md.) will join members of the Maryland Muslim community at Masjid Bait-us-Samad to discuss ways to build cultural understanding close to home and around the world.

“Our communities thrive when residents have empathy and respect for everyone around them, and those qualities are built through ongoing conversations and the sharing of perspectives,” said Senator Cardin. “I look forward to the chance to deepen my understanding of the concerns of Maryland’s Muslim community and find common goals that can be addressed by working together.”
